We are delighted to welcome you back into our large Beer Garden!

When you arrive ... please check-in using to NHS App and use the Hand Sanitisers we have provided. We kindly ask you to wear your mask until seated at your table. There is a Host Station on the gravel area, please wait here and we will seat you. We are providing full table service. Just after a drink? There's no need to book!

All our tables in our Marquee can be reserved for dining. When you arrive if you wish to sit elsewhere you are more than welcome. Our Marquee is open sided as per current government guidelines so please wrap up warm as we cannot guarantee any heating. We recommend bringing blankets for the perfect Al Fresco dining experience! Our marquee is a no smoking area.

We do not reserve any of the picnic tables on our lawn area so please just turn up for these tables. We run a staggered ordering system to ensure we do not overload our kitchen and with food orders so please be patient with us. Our chefs still have to social distance. We will give you an approximate wait time to order your food.

About Us

The Bucks is a traditional 17th century pub and former coaching inn. Serving many real ales and great food, it is the perfect stop off when visiting the area.

Also boasting four unique bedrooms, the Bucks offers wonderful Bed and Breakfast with fantastic views of the surrounding Blickling Hall Estate (National Trust).

Both Aylsham (just a mile up the road) and Holt (20 minutes drive in the other direction) are historic and popular market towns offering a diverse range of attractive and interesting shops.
